Foreign Students

Are you a student and want to study abroad at the UFBA?

The UFBA has two types of exchange for international students: International Cooperation Agreement Students and Special Students:

 

International Cooperation Agreement Students:

An International Cooperation Agreement Student. is a university student undertaking international academic exchange under a cooperation agreement between their higher educational institution and the UFBA, for up to two semesters.

International Cooperation Agreement Students must complete the Online Registration Form on the UFBA International Affairs Office site and choose the curricular components to attend during their exchange. The curricular components may be consulted on the following site https://twiki.UFBA.br/twiki/bin/view/SUPAC/MatriculaGraduacaoUnidade1

The enrolment is registered directly by the International Affairs Office at the Secretaria Geral dos Cursos (SGC) (General Secretariat for Courses). Students who wish to undertake curricular components of postgraduate courses must submit their request to the UFBA International Affairs Office. However registration will take place directly at the Office of the Board of the Post -Graduate Program chosen.

 

Special Students:

The Special Student is a university student whose home institution does not have a cooperation agreement with the UFBA. This category also includes university graduates who wish to undertake part of their postgraduate studies at a foreign higher educational institution. Once registration is approved, the undergraduate student may attend up to six (6) curriculum components at the UFBA, and the postgraduate may take up to four (4) postgraduate curriculum components.

Observations:

1) No places are available for Special Students in Medicine.
